Campus Accessibility

ACM is committed to creating an inclusive environment that ensures accessibility for individuals with reduced mobility or special needs. The campus is designed to facilitate access to all buildings and facilities, reflecting our ongoing commitment to providing equal learning opportunities and full participation in college life for all students.

Support & Services:

  • Reserved parking spaces and a designated entrance gate for individuals with accessibility needs
  • Restroom facilities equipped with accessible toilet stalls designed for ease of use
  • Ramps at all building entry points and throughout campus pathways to enhance mobility and access

Special Needs Services

ACM students with special needs or health conditions that impact their academic or physical abilities are encouraged to complete documentation at the Student Affairs Department. Students should include official documentation outlining their specific circumstances and needs, which may consist of medical reports, assessments, or other relevant information. This documentation will help tailor services to meet individual requirements and needs.

The goal is to ensure that every student has access to the resources and accommodations necessary to succeed in their academic journey, providing personalized guidance and assistance throughout their college experience. Accordingly, special educational arrangements, learning accommodations, specialized support, parking services, and facilitated access to all campus buildings are offered.

Counseling & Wellness Services

ACM offers both individual and group counseling sessions to help students address challenges that may impact their academic success and overall well-being.

These services assist students in managing academic pressure, developing coping strategies, and improving their mental health. Counseling provides a safe space for students to openly discuss their concerns. Specialized support is also available for those dealing with exam-related anxiety, equipping them with strategies to manage stress and enhance academic performance.

Clinical Services

The ACM clinic is open daily to serve students, staffed by a registered nurse selected from the ER department of one of the most renowned hospitals in Kuwait. The nurses are well-trained and have extensive experience in handling medical cases and emergencies.

The clinic offers general check-ups for students and staff with simple health concerns, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and dizziness, along with medications like painkillers and throat lozenges when appropriate.

In case of accidents or emergencies, the clinic provides first-aid and accommodates individuals until an ambulance arrives if necessary.

Opening Hours: The ACM clinic operates year-round, from Saturday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM.

Location: Building D – Ground Floor.
